On time delivery for many years

Field Engineering have consistently met all relevant requirements placed upon them across various companies I’ve worked with and I highly recommend their services. Dave and his estimator Murray are very friendly, professional and quick to respond to all RFQ’s, promptly turning out accurate estimations which are commercially competitive, often within pennies of their like for like competitors on multi pound orders.

From a medium volume production scale, 500 items a batch, (3’000 per annum) our Precision Engineering demands placed upon them for Brass Mill-Turn components for our prime OEM in the print industry, were consistently met with on time delivery for many years with consistent quality and all the usual QCDPS requirements.

Two other medium volume product lines (10’000 units year, approximately) with plastic components that were machined for Automotive and Oil and Gas Boiler products were also met with regular deliveries over many years of service.

More recently they have met my main products current requirements for smaller batch sizes of dimensionally much larger products of around 60 a batch of watertight sub-assemblies mill turn with engraved pattern finish, which are sold to customers across the world. They’ve also produced prototype batches of novel design sub-assemblies which have potentially aerospace end use application and will be subject to demanding test cycles in the coming months.

Within budget and on time

We have struggled to find a company that is willing to undertake small bespoke machining jobs. Now, after a chance meeting with Field Engineering we have found a company who have done the job we wanted to a high standard, within budget and on time with a friendly and professional attitude.
